Admission is now open for English-language Bachelor’s programmes in Performing Arts (keyboard instruments; solo academic singing [female, male]; strings: violin; wind instruments: flute), Composition, and Music Technology.
Admission is also open for Georgian-language undergraduate programmes in Performing Arts (keyboard instruments; academic choir conducting; solo academic singing [female, male]; strings: violin, viola, cello, harp, guitar; wind instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba; and percussion), Jazz Art, Composition, Musicology, and Music Technology.
The registration period for entrance exams / audition rounds is from May 1 to May 14, 2026 (inclusive) (see the list of required documents below).
Entrance exams / audition rounds will be held from June 8 to June 24, 2026 (inclusive). The full schedule will be published no later than June 3.

By the decision of the “MusiQuE” (Music Quality Enhancement) – International Higher Music Education Quality Enhancement Center made on March 31, 2025, Tbilisi State Conservatoire announces admissions to its fully internationally accredited programs of:
1.Performing Arts Faculty:
– Keyboard Instruments (Piano);
– Solo Academic Singing;
– String Instruments (Violin);
– Woodwind Instruments (Flute).
2.Composition and Musicology Faculty:
– Composition;
– Music Technology.
The duration of all the above-mentioned Bachelor’s Degree programmes is 4 years (8 semesters).
The admission requirement for Bachelor’s programmes is completion of general education.
For the bachelor’s programs in Performing Arts and Composition, applicants are admitted based on Exams/Audition Rounds set by the Conservatoire and the results of the Unified National Exams or in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Regulation for Admission of Entrants with the right to apply without passing Unified National Exams.
For the bachelor’s programs in Music Technology applicants are admitted based on written test assessing the one’s musical hearing abilities, set by the Conservatoire and the results of the Unified National Exams or in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Regulation for Admission of Entrants with the right to apply without passing Unified National Exams.
Note: Applicants required to apply through the Unified National Exams must complete registration with both the National Assessment and Examinations Center and the Conservatoire.

Note:
a) If you would like the Conservatoire to provide a concertmaster, please, notify us in writing by email during registration.
2. Copy of a document confirming citizenship (Copy of an ID card or Passport (PDF));
3. One Digital photograph (3×4, JPG);
4. Payment receipt confirming the participation fee for the Exam/Audition Rounds (see transfer details) (PDF):
For applicants applying with Unified National Exams: 50 GEL
For applicants applying without Unified National Exams: 50 EUR (or the equivalent of 50 EUR in Georgian Lari (GEL))
5. For the Composition only – List of works to be presented in accordance with the admission requirements, including electronic versions of sheet music samples and recordings;
6. A document confirming proficiency in the language of instruction of the programme (certificate confirming at least B2 level of English proficiency (CEFR B1; IELTS, Cambridge exam – PET, Pitman ESOL International; TOEIC, TOEFL or relevant documents (e.g., attestation, certificate, etc.) from the educational institution as proof of English proficiency);
7. The examination identification card issued by the National Assessment and Examinations Center, (only for applicants applying through the Unified National Exams) (PDF).
Additional Documents Required for Applicants
Not Taking the Unified National Exams:
8. Copy of a document certifying the completion of full general education obtained in a foreign country or its equivalent.
9. Copy of a document confirming grades and credits earned at a foreign higher education institution (hereinafter “HEI”) for persons who are studying/studied and have obtained credits in an HEI recognized under the legislation of that foreign country.
10. In the case of a person with no Permanent Residency Card, a copy of a residence permit must be attached to the application instead of a document confirming citizenship.
11. A document confirming residence in a foreign country for citizens of Georgia who have lived or are living there for a specified period, have studied or are studying, and have earned academic credits in that country
Note: Documents drawn up in a foreign language must be translated into Georgian and certified by a notary.
