By the decision of the – “MusiQuE” (Music Quality Enhancement) – International Higher Music Education Quality Enhancement Center made on March 31, 2025 – Tbilisi State Conservatoire announces admissions on its fully internationally accredited programs of: 

1.Performing Arts Faculty: 
Keyboard Instruments (Piano);
Solo Academic Singing;
String Instruments (Violin, Viola);
Woodwind Instrument (Flute, Clarinet).

2.Composition and Musicology Faculty:
Composition; 
Music Technology.

The duration of all the above-mentioned Master’s Degree programmes is 2 years (4 semesters).
The prerequisite for admission to Master’s degree programmes is a Bachelor’s academic degree, higher academic musical education.
Admission of candidates to the Master’s programme Performing Arts is based solely on exams (Audition Rounds) determined by the Conservatoire.
Admission of candidates to the Master’s programmes Composition and Music Technology is based on an exam (Audition Rounds) determined by the Conservatoire, as well as the Unified Master’s Exam (except for those who have the right to study without taking the Unified Master’s Exam).

Note: For Master’s candidates (this does not apply to the Performing Arts programme), registration is mandatory both at the National Assessment and Examinations Center and at the Conservatoire (except for those who have the right to study without taking the Unified Master’s Exam).

Applicants must send the following documents to the email address enrollment@tsc.edu.ge for registration:

1. Registration form for Exam/Audition Rounds:
For English-Language Programmes see Form №1 (PDF);
For Georgian-Language Programmes see Form №2 (PDF);
Note:
a) Changes in the Audition Programme are allowed no later than June 25 of the current year.
2. Copy of a document confirming citizenship (Copy of an ID card or Passport (PDF));
3. One digital photograph (3×4, JPG);
4. Copy of the Payment Receipt confirming the exam participation fee of 50 EUROS/The equivalent of 50 euros in Georgian lari (see transfer details) (PDF);

For applicants applying with Unified Master’s Exams: 50 GEL
For applicants applying without Unified Master’s Exams: 50 EUR (or the equivalent of 50 EUR in Georgian Lari (GEL))

5. For Composition only – List of works to be presented in accordance with the admission requirements, including electronic versions of sheet music samples and recordings;
Note: Changes in the List of Works are allowed no later than June 25 of the current year.
6. For Music Technology only – Written description of the Master’s Artistic Project submitted as an electronic file/folder, along with a portfolio of completed creative activities in electronic file/folder format;

7. For English-language programmes: applicants must submit an internationally recognized certificate confirming English language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level (CEFR), including IELTS, Cambridge English PET, Pitman ESOL International, TOEIC, or TOEFL, or any other official document issued by an accredited educational institution confirming at least B2-level proficiency in English.

• Attention foreign applicants: Applicants who wish to enroll in Georgian-language programmes are required to attend an interview at the conservatoire to demonstrate Georgian language proficiency at a minimum of B1 level

8. Examination identification card issued by the National Assessment and Examinations Center, upon issuance (for the programmes: Composition and Music Technology only);

Additional Documents Required for Applicants Not Taking the Unified Master’s Exam:

9. Bachelor’s academic degree certificate issued by a higher education institution (HEI) recognized by a foreign country, confirming higher academic musical education — diploma (electronic version of the original) for Master’s programs.
10. Copy of a document confirming grades and credits earned at a foreign higher education institution (HEI), for individuals who are studying/have studied and have obtained credits in a Master’s programme at an HEI recognized in accordance with the legislation of that country.
11. In the case of stateless persons, a document confirming residency must be attached to the application instead of a document confirming citizenship.
12. A Master’s Programme Candidate who was admitted to a higher education institution’s bachelor’s program without passing the Unified Master’s Exam must submit:

• A copy of the diploma and its supplement confirming the qualification obtained through enrollment in accordance with the established rules, or a certificate confirming the awarding of the degree.
• Order of the Rector of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) confirming a person’s enrollment in the first cycle of higher education at the HEI without passing the Unified National Examinations.

13. A document confirming residence in a foreign country for citizens of Georgia who have lived or are living there for a specified period, have studied or are studying, and have earned academic credits in that country

• A certificate confirming successful completion of the General Aptitude Test administered by the National Assessment and Examinations Center (for individuals specified in №13)

Note: Documents drawn up in a foreign language must be translated into Georgian and certified by a notary.
